Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-12. Applies to Premium subscriptions only. Free accounts and Freemium (earned via reputation) cost nothing and have nothing to refund.
Your statutory cancellation right (UK)
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the start of your subscription to cancel without giving a reason and receive a full refund of the most recent monthly payment.
If you begin using Premium features (the trader-charts, day-1 alerts, customised profile, etc.) before the 14 days are up, you are agreeing to immediate performance of the service. We may then refund a pro-rata portion based on time used at our discretion, but we are not obliged to.
After the first 14 days
Premium is billed monthly and is non-refundable once a billing month has begun. You can cancel at any time via the Stripe customer portal (linked from /me/settings when you're signed in to a Premium account). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Premium until then.
Pro-rata refunds for service failure
If CheckAGrade is unavailable for an extended period (more than 24 hours of complete outage in a billing month), email support@lazylabs.uk and we will issue a pro-rata refund.
Chargebacks
If you raise a chargeback with your bank without contacting us first, we will revoke your Premium subscription on receipt of the dispute notice. Always email us at support@lazylabs.uk before disputing — most refund situations can be resolved without involving the card network.
How to request a refund
Email support@lazylabs.uk with the subject REFUND and include the email address on your CheckAGrade account. We aim to process refunds within 5 working days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe.
